Chef and owner Scott Conant's award-winning restaurants have been applauded everywhere from The New York Times to Food & Wine and Esquire, and have earned him a place among America's most celebrated chefs. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Scott’s career spans over 35 years and his current restaurant portfolio includes Cellaio Steak in the Catskills of upstate New York and The Americano restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona and Atlanta, Georgia. Conant has published four cookbooks and is a recurring judge on Food Network’s “Chopped” and a frequent co-host on “Beat Bobby Flay”.

In September 2021, Conant released his newest book Peace, Love, and Pastaa compilation of simple, fresh, and flavorful Italian recipes for the home cook to bring to their own family’s table. These recipes are built on the art of cooking for love, fascination with flavors and ingredients, and the simple pleasures of taste and conviviality.
  
At Mora Italian, Scott continues to share his knowledge and love for Italian flavors, giving locals and travelers alike a true taste of the passion he has for his craft.
